Information for teams:
How does the tournament work? Teams challenge another team of similar caliber to a one-game showdown, with winners claiming bragging rights and a special prize. Even if your team’s on-ice performance isn’t enough to win, perhaps you’ll win as a top fundraising team or individual. And even if you don’t win in that way, you can feel proud for the difference you will be making in the lives of many youth in the area.
The 2009 Charity Challenge is being held on the new ice pads at the new Woolwich Memorial Centre in Elmira. We will be using both the Dan Snyder & Jim McLeod Arenas. Both are state-of-the-art NHL sized surfaces. Click here for directions.
Check some of the past year prizes for individual awards. Then sign-up and check the many fine Waterloo Region charities you will be supporting. |
