How does the tournament work?

Teams challenge another team of similar caliber to a one-game showdown, with winners claiming bragging rights and a special prize.  Even if your team’s on-ice performance isn’t enough to win, perhaps you’ll win as a top fundraising team or individual.  And even if you don’t win in that way, you can feel proud for the difference you will be making in the lives of many youth in the area.

 

The eighth annual Charity Challenge Hockey Tournament held at RIM Park on Saturday, November 29, 2008 was once again a great success.  

 

We thank the teams who participated in this event.  They had an excellent opportunity to get some exercise, socialize and have fun while raising money for the Optimists’ projects with youth of our area.
